The Real Less Traveled

1)            For having a career choice for the rest of your life, I personally believe that a person must be passionate for the job. Being passionate is having a strong interest in what you are doing. In personal experiences I have been working at this place for some time now and some of the people I work with are bothering me. This is because i work with a group that we go around a big circle doing sections at a time picking up garbage. Then after we go around again with mops, Moping each section at a time. The problem with this is when I go and  mop a section that someone else cleaned there is always garbage still on the floor. Making it more time consuming for me and more hard. Now if those people were passionate about their job i wouldn't have to spend more of my time cleaning the sections. So it just goes to prove that a person that is  passionate for their job gets the work done right.

2)          In the years ahead the career choice that I might decide to have is being a construction worker. I believe this is what I might want to do because I love to make things out of wood and I like to watching house building shows on the television. This all started of thinking of being a construction worker back when i was fourteen. I had the chance to help a family member with building a part of their house and ever since helping him I love it. All I have to get closer to this goal if I choose to be one is passing English 12 and math. Not to worried about math i am pretty good at it but its English my toughest subject I hope I end up with a C+ but who knows. Anyways soon i will find out for sure what I want to do but for now I have to pass English and 40% exam is not going to be easy but I will give it my all.

The Perils Of In Difference

1) The Perils of indifference suggesting that when there is negative things going on around the world people just stand by not helping.

2) In the story "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson the ending was gruesome due to the stoning the community did to a middle age woman. when reading this it reminded me of watching the news one day and hearing about a 29 year old woman walking down the street getting stoned in Afghanistan. When i was watching  this I found it to be very unbelievable that people would do such a thing to a person just because others were doing it. Then afterwords no one stepping in to help.

3) I believe that the story "The Lottery" relates to the Elie speech because it is proving that when horrible surprising things happen in the world no one care everyone just continues life but when the horrible things come to their front door then everything changes. People start to care. An example of this is in "The Lottery" everyone was wanted to be against the stoning thing but then when people weren't picked no one cared then started to help for the stoning because it wasn't their life in danger. Therefore in  Elise speech a great example is when she was saying that Mrs.Clinton did not do anything but when a American person got hurt then she finally did something because it came to her front door.

cliche assignment

It was just a normal day the sun was shining and the birds were singing when we decided to go on the road again. We were just leaving a town when i saw a haunting house from the corner of my eye.
" STOP FATHER" I SCREAMED " i want to go in the haunting house". When walking up to the door the weather changed it started to rain cats and dogs. Finally opening the door taking my first steps in there. There was a man "hello sir we want to go in this haunting house" I told him
" OK but say your prayers once you are in you can't turn back" he explained to us
I told him " well we are going to walk on the wild side let's go family ".
Walking down the hall Iwas thinking in my head what a duck that guy was he should know when it comes between me and my parents it's always my way or the highway. But what my mom always said what goes around comes around so maybe he will get hit by a double decker bus.
Out of no where a ghost came from the wall then disappeared. "did you guys see that ghost"? i asked my parents
" a ghost no way maybe when pigs fly"  my father was saying
But once again the ghost pops out but this time he is coming at me his white body almost like the color of sour cream closer he gets  i can't feel my legs my arms feeling like rubber." HAAAAAAAAAA what where am I how did I get in my bed was it just a dream"
my bedroom door smashed opened " WHAT IN TAR NATION is going on here" shouted my father
"I had a nightmare what on earth is wrong with me "  I asked
" nothing son you just had a bad dream when push comes to shove everyone has bad dreams once in a while just go back to bed goodnight son"

my superhero power

Just a normal day Jack Miller woke up to the same thing like everyday his stupid dog licking his face like if the dog thought he was a chew toy. Just like same he went downstairs had his morning coffee then got already for work. But what he forgot then realized that today was Monday that means garbage day to his excitement nothing changed. But what he didn't know is everything was going to change. As he headed down the drive way with the garbage, the corner of his eye catches something in the sky. From far distance it looked like a green balloon but the object kept getting closer and closer and before he caught on the weird thing hit him. His body
